Waiheke Island- 2019
The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc exhibits aromas of ripe tropical fruits, melon, and gentle herbaceousness on the nose, while the palate shows great focus and texture from the partial barrel ferment.
This Sauvignon Blanc is grown in the Eastern Hills of Waiheke Island where the warm balmy days are followed by cooler nights, helping preserve the freshness, acidity and varietal character of this delicate grape varietal. The soil types on the eastern end of the island are semi volcanic which give wines grown on these soils a solid mineral backbone.
Perfect for immediate drinking but will also cellar for up to three years.
