Larose’s baby brother has always been an excellent wine in its own right and is the most immediately approachable of our estate wines.

Tasting Notes:

Airfield is a beautiful expression of a Waiheke Merlot dominant wine. The colour is a vibrant ruby.The wine shows some fresh raspberry and dark cherry as well as some subtle notes of cinnamon from the French oak influence. The mouth comes together with some soft silky tannins balancing the acidity.Amazing to drink now, but can be cellared for up to 8 years.
